CancelAds is provided to you by Profy, Inc. (Profy), a California corporation. At Profy we take your privacy seriously. Please, read the following to know exactly how and when we collect and use information that can specifically identify you.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

Information you provide

Profy collects personal information when you use CancelAds and when you visit CancelAds pages. When you create an account to use CancelAds, we ask you for personal information (such as your email address and an account password). If you want to use CancelAds, during the account setup procedure we will ask you for your personal information (such as your name, address, PayPal account information). If you register your site(s) for CancelAds as a publisher, you will also need to provide us with your business name and TIN for taxation purposes.

Cookies

When you visit CancelAds, we send one or more cookies – a small file containing a string of characters – to your computer or other device that uniquely identifies your browser. The cookies will be stored on your computer or other device. Due to the nature of CancelAds service, your browser must accept cookies for you to be able to use the service. In its CancelAds service, Profy relies on other web sites owned by Profy partners. Such web sites may send one or more cookies to your computer or other device in order to identify your browser as belonging to your CancelAds account and prevent display of ads on such websites that you have valid subscriptions to. This Privacy Policy applies to Profy services only, including CancelAds. We do not exercise control over the sites that use CancelAds. Such partner sites may have different privacy practices and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Server log information

Profy automatically receives and records in server logs information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request. Profy uses information for the following general purposes: to fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

User communications

When you send email or other communications to Profy about our services, we may retain those communications in order to process your requests, respond to your inquiries and improve our services.
Profy maintains and processes your personal information in order to provide your CancelAds account and access. We use the information collected for the following general purposes: to fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you about CancelAds services, conduct research, ensure technical functioning of our products and services, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.
You can decline to submit personal information to Profy but you understand and agree that in this case Profy may not be able to provide CancelAds services to you.
We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other Profy services or third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services.
Profy processes personal information on our servers in the United States of America and in other countries. Please note that any personally-identifying information you provide in the process of using CancelAds may be transferred out of your country. You consent to such transfer through your use of CancelAds. You also warrant that you have the right to transfer such information outside your country.

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

Profy only shares personal information with other companies or individuals outside of Profy in the following limited circumstances:

· We have your consent. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.

· We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Profy under confidentiality agreements. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.

· We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

· We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Profy’s terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

· We transfer information about you if Profy is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Profy will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.


We may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users who purchased subscriptions to CancelAds partner sites or an average duration of a subscription purchased for CancelAds. Such information does not identify you individually.

INFORMATION CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data. We restrict access to personal information about you to Profy employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

ACCESSING AND UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you use Profy services, including CancelAds, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort. ENFORCEMENT

Profy regularly reviews its compliance with this Privacy Policy. Please feel free to direct any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or Profy’s treatment of personal information by contacting us at cancelads@profy.com or by writing to us at the address below. When we receive formal written complaints at this address, it is Profy’s policy to contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns. We will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between Profy and an individual.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect most such changes will be minor. Regardless, we will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice by notifying you of Privacy Policy changes by email we have on file for your account.
